Welcome to a new dedicated web site to Commer TS3 NHH482.

NHH482 has had a long and varied life but for most of it the bus has spent more time in storage, passing through a number of yards and owners before I found it in a yard in Shobdon near Leominster.

While visiting the yard in 2011 in search of a spare donor chassis for our Yeats Pegasus Bedford SB5 951UVT I came across the Commer which had certainly seen much better days and after taking a couple of seconds to decide to purchase the bus along with the SB5 chassis a deal was struck and by Christmas of that year NHH482 was mine. The next job was to have it transported to our Uttoxeter base, this was carried out by local haulier in Shobdon. Work on the restoration began almost immediately. I was hooked she was just what the doctor ordered.

Once I had found the details of its original owners, Blair & Palmer of Carlisle I put an advertisment in the cumbrian local paper asking for any information about the but. The result was phenomenal my mobile phone did not stop ringing for a whole weekend from people who either worked on it, drove it or travelled on it. The best part was when George Palmer made contact with me and to cut a very long story short he filled me in on the Commers rich pedigree and history.

I plan to restore the bus to as near original condition as possible although I have not put a completion date but it is hoped to have the bus ready to attend the Classic Motor Show held in Lerwick on the Shetland Islands in 2014
